Naturopathy
Naturopathy is defined by principles rather than by treatment options. As a matter of fact, it honours the body’s innate wisdom to heal and cure and provide the tools for lifelong wellness.
The 6 Principles of Naturopathic Medicine
1.First, Do No Harm
2.The Healing Power of Nature
3.Identify and Treat the Causes
4. What is Naturopathy Doctor as A Teacher?
5. Treat the Whole Person
6. Prevention
The core practice of naturopathy is as old as healing itself, and as modern as new medical breakthroughs. It incorporates a dynamic philosophy and recognises the interconnection and interdependence of all living things. Naturopathic medicine priorities the most natural, least invasive, and least toxic therapies to treat illness and promotes wellness.
Naturopathy Initial Consultation
Your first naturopathic consultation goes for 60 minutes. Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a new patient intake form and any recent blood tests or other results which will assist us in areas that we need to focus with our questioning.
Katherine takes the time to listen to what you are experiencing and how you are feeling before tailoring a treatment plan specific to your needs.
Follow-Up Naturopathic Consultations
Subsequent consultations with naturopath Katherine Knott usually last for 45 minutes. These appointments are to track your progress to ensure that you are reaching your healthcare goals.
